do you like japan?

this series of portraits was made for a book “do you like japan?” (イルボンは好きですか?, 일본을 좋아합니까?). longer than a half of the century has passed since the second world War and the annexation of korean peninsula by japan came to end. but the relationships between those two countries (or three including north korea) turn strained quit often after 90's specially when it comes to historical issues. koreans generally think with reasons that japan doesn’t like to accept responsibility for its colonial past and war time aggression. on the other hand the youth in japan don’t know its unsettled histories between neighbors and what their country has done in asia before the end of the war. we tried to pick up in what way young korean generations are looking at japan and thinking of it.
